Unclear to me but it is close to two different places.
1. Board of Works mint, Beijing.
2. Chengdu, Sichuan province
If Yunnan then it would lack one small but prominent mark to the right. That mark is present on this coin. If it is Yunnan, it just is not an exact match for the symbols in my book.

I have nearly 200 Chinese Cash covering most reign titles from Tang times and all dynasties.
Almost all of mine came from dealers' junk boxes a long time ago, for around 20 cents apiece.

I had no idea of what I was buying, or even if they were genuine or not. As it turns out, almost all of them were found to be genuine. Perhaps the reason for this is the fact they were made in truly industrial quantities, and not worth the bother to fake the common ones.

My collection made a lot more sense to me, after I acquired a copy of Schjoth, and I was able to identify all of them, with a bit of patience.

The coin is from the Board of Works mint. KM#390, C#2-1, Schjoth#1466, Fischer Ding#2306.

Hartill Chinese Cast Coins has 23 types for Gao Zong/Board of Works. (Schjoth has one, the other references have two.) From the shape of the characters on the reverse this is H#22.255, the type issued 1761-1767.

Hartill Qing Cash has either one or two types matching 22.255, but that book isn't handy right now. My 22.255 is 6.65 in that book.
