Pictures are way too small, even when I zoom in, but it doesn't look like it.

High and low leaf are only on the Denver mint Went back to take the pic and you are right coop it's a P Not a D but odd thing is is that it looks exactly like the extra high leaf as far as that shaded area in between the two leaves it's just missing the actually raised portion. It got the P spot in our State Quarter book anyways

Did anyone note on the upper leaf picture I posted? It has been mentioned that a mint worker altered the leaves on these two. On the first image you can see where the line was continued and affected the left side of the corn leaf. That tells me for sure the die was altered.

I had actually read that when researching the error. I don't know much about mint alterations, however even to someone who doesn't know a lot it appears like its very intentional with this coin. i really like errors, but I think that on the states I like watching for them because some of them are so obvious.

Yes Coop, I knew of this, but I just couldn't see it. Isn't there also one on the 2004 dime that is similar?

There are a few cents that also have that circular ring around the statue on the reverse. It was probably the item he used to alter the quarter dies, now on the dimes. Same year, same mint. Sounds suspicious to me?

Same here. Sounds a bit fishy. Hopefully (not) that the employee was fired
