I am sure some would not send problem coins in for grading.
To me these are a good example on why to use ANACS.
The cost to grade them is only $10 each. And over the years
I picked up these coins cheap. I don't have $100 in all three.

I really wanted to do something with these, because my wife
was born and raised in Hawaii .. so I pick up related coins
and currency.

What do you think .. crazy .. or crazy ...

Especially since your wife was born and raised there. I love them and also for $10 would have had no problem at all getting them slabbed

Agree. Good associations, not very expensive.

I pick up the display cases when I see dealers having them sitting around.

I showed this set to a couple dealers, now I am not sure if I will be able to get
as many of these cases in the future. They liked how the right sets
of coins look too.

Thanks all ..

I was thinking I would get slammed by some, for sending off
3 coins .. and getting Details grades back.
I was thinking the Half dollar might make it problem free.
There is a small scratch on reverse .. ANACS can be tough.
Or maybe they wanted all three to match better ..

Even if they are "details" coins, it's still a very nice set, especially considering you have about $100 in all three coins including grading.

I think they are very nice and presentable, now you just need the dollar.

Interesting ... I was just updating the LCS's greysheet.
They just added Hawaiian coins.

What is the opinion on pricing a details coin.
I have always thought .. if not to bad .. to drop one grade for price.
