Came across this Draped Bust quarter and still getting used to this grading. I see the scratches on the back making it details but otherwise I think it's in pretty good condition?

She is a little rough. VG details. Scratched, environmental damage.

VG8. its borderline whether or not a TPG would place a details designation on in. I'm thinking with the rims a little nicked up, the scratches on both sides and what appears to be some corrosion, they probably would

Are you looking to sell .. or just wanting to know the value.

With a details or problem coin price can vary a lot.

Good chance if you had it slabbed .. it would get VG details.

Greysheet for a 1806 quarter
Good $410
Very good $525

A dealer will pay back of greysheet .. much more for a details or problem coin.

Problem coins have always been harder to sell. Most cases they trade
much less than problem free coins.

The $250 price mentioned sound like a good ballpark for this coin.

I feel it your were going to sell it ... having it graded would get the most money.

Just wanted to know value, plan in holding this for many years to come. I like how it looks even with scratches. I think I will have it sent in with my next ANACS submission

I think this is a very attractive coin. Some scratches ruin a coin. In this case, I think they lends character to a well circulated and well traveled through history coin.
