I recently acquired a 2006 proof quarter in circulation at my job. It was just sitting in the drawer with all its cameo staring at me. It isn't anything special other than a proof found in circulation though. Edited by Brandonflanagan 10/12/2016 3:04 pm

I'm a novice when it comes to proof coins. How did you know it was a proof?

Nice find ... always fun to find something different.
How do we know it is a proof.
What was mirrored fields and cameo Washington, so how it looks.
Oh ..the "S" mint mark ... for 2006 only proofs have "S" mint marks. Both clad and silver.

Nice find! Hey, it's from the best state in the Union, too!

@cashhound exactly what GR58 said.. the mirrored fields and the s mint mark. In a pile of quarters it had a distinct difference with the frostiness.
