Can I please have some opinions on this coin? There seems to be another number or something underneath the 2 in 1942. Any ideas on this and the possible value?

Looks like it might have taken a hit there right at the end of the 2 so I am going to lean towards PMD(post mint damage).

The mark looks incuse. If it were a die error it would be raised. Damage leaves an incuse mark into the fields.
