Was just browsing and found this... haven't done research other than compare to some pics but seems like it looks like the no-no site versions of this coin... or does it seem ok? Looks weird to me. Thanks! http://www.ebay.com/itm/90-SILVER-1...AOSwx2dYFkWj

for sure. Just one glance at either photo and you immediately see so much wrong. I'm not even into commemorative coins, and it's easy for me to spot.

It's fake. Normally, a decent version of this coin would go for hundreds of dollars. That right there should set off some red flags. Examining the coin further, one can easily tell it is a counterfeit. It is probably made by some Chinese guy.

Agree it's a fake. Seller has solid feedback. Honest mistake, perhaps?

Concur with the commentary ... this counterfeit version shows up with some regularity. I just viewed the most recent 400 classic silver commemorative listed on ebay and came across this Gettysburg and two counterfeit 1936-S Rhode Island halves. Education is the key. David

I wonder if anyone sent the seller any messages to let seller know it is fake.

Waste of my time GR58 ... ebay has never responded to any of my 'report this item' messages ... so I have given up. Every day I can find at least one counterfeit classic silver commemorative on ebay ... hence my suggestion that buyer education is the key to protect yourself ... and ultimately this hobby. David

GR58, seller has ended the listing due to "an error."

I agree about all the fakes with classic silver commemoratives.
I even bought a fake once by using my iphone app and not paying enough attention and getting a good deal near the end of an auction without having much time to do any vetting.
I ended up getting a refund and they let me keep the fake, not that it does me any good.

This one isn't even a good fake.
