One of my favorite books of all time is "Lies My Teacher Told Me" by James Loewen. It taught me that the history I learned in school was baloney. My favorite chapter is the one about Columbus. I think the more time between those events, the better. As for Thanksgiving, it always comes and goes way too fast.
