G'day & crikey, I still haven't seen 2007 5-cent, 50-cent, nor $2 in Darwin yet. Funny thing is, I'm getting a lot of pristine 2003 $1 recently. Collecting from circulation is character-building. Peter

Wow that's nice. I should keep on looking - should be the season when new coins appear.

I got 10 x $1, 2 x 20¢ & 1 x $2 yesterday from my local Woolies. I saw there were a lot of shiny coins in the register drawer, so I asked for $20 worth of coins in my change.

Got my first 2008 20 cents today. Wierd, I still haven't got any 2007 5 cents and more interestingly, I believe I handled less than 6 2007 20 cents. That's really bizarre!

No shortage of 2007 20¢ here in Mackay. Am tossing most of them back.

Most 2007 coins are now plentiful in Brisbane, 5¢ still not in great numbers, but at least they are showing up. I have got quite a few now.
1 more 2008 $1 MoR yesterday.

I got my first 2008 coins too! I noodled $100 of circulated 20c coins last night and found 4. Not in fantastic condition but pretty darn good. Is there any trend showing up for any demoninations being scarcer than others

A Rabbit dollar has a Cud behind the small roo's ears, usually laying down along the roos back. They are known occur in 1984, 85, 94, 98, 00, 06 & 08. My experience is that 2000 & 2006 are difficult to find, with 1985 being very scarce. The other years turn up every so often. See here: https://goccf.com/t/10827Piccies on Page 3
