I bought this raw coin recently and would appreciate opinions on the grade and any other comments. I believe it is O-118 R4 based on the T/I alignment of the reverse.

I don't think the coin was cleaned but am no expert. My photography skills are not good as I use a windowsill and whatever light the day provides - cloudy, sunny, etc..

Solid 50. I see nothing indicative of cleaning, although the monotone photos might throw some opinions in that direction.

Details looks AU and virtually all the patina has been removed, chemically or otherwise, leaving the surfaces looking dead.

Your new picture looks better. Do you have a similar shot of the obverse? Cleaning and dipping are not usually considered one and the same. I do think your coin has been dipped in acid but it might grade as problem-free at a TPG.

High 45 or low au50. I agree with a old dipping as well.
