I found an old jar of wheat pennies in my dads garage.
Been running through them grading and I found a 37 with a possible die error...
I am a COMPLETE novice and would like a little insight..

Thanks in advance !

Looks like a lamination error, not an error with the die but rather with the planchette. Nice find.

to CCF. As to value check ebay sold values. You should post your high grade finds in the grading section. I for one like to see high grade LWC's.

Even a key date in horrible condition is better than nothing.

Wondering if the missing piece was in the jar? Think its a bonus to have or keep them together. Thank, Doug.

Nice lamination error ...

I think in the back of the RedBook there is a page with basic error prices.

Some common errors are just what you can get for them.
