.....so am assuming that means to whoever picked it up from the Post Office in Long beach. Sent in a 1986 Gold Eagle, a 1987-W proof Constitution quarter Eagle, and a 1922 No D Lincoln Cent.......and I hope they don't fingerprint the proof quarter eagle

Good luck; at least if they do fingerprint the quarter eagle it probably has a lesser chance of etching being gold.

Depending on how you shipped it, you should be able to see the printed name and signature of who signed for it by clicking the links on the USPS tracking web site.
I always snag a screen shot of that signature/name image "just in case" an issue arises.

I just sent it 2-Day Priority Mail, insured, and no signature confirmation, which is my fault, just totally forgot about it. Should have known better, because every coin I sell on ebay over $250, gets signature confirmation . It's interesting though, because in their shipping instructions, they never mention anything about signature confirmation....that's probably why it slipped my mind. The MS Eagle, and Proof quarter eagle should grade high, but they are both bullion, and unless they're 70's it doesn't really matter. Am hoping for a VF20 on the Lincoln, anything higher is a bonus.

I would think that they would be on their best behaviour regarding fingerprints at PCGS at the moment, Well at least you would think so.

Ed.... If was insured for more than 300$ USPS requires a signature at delivery.

Just for the fun of it I called PCGS to ask them what "Agent" meant and they said that they have "Security Agents" pick up packages a few times per day. I'm thinking, yeah, probably just some guy in overalls.
@trout1105, the fingerprint comment was made in your honor. Hopefully your situation will work out. I wanted to send mine into NGC, but already had my PCGS membership, so....
@moxking, yeah you're right, but at VF20 I can still break even when I sell it.

HeHe My submission is now marked as "received" As these two submissions seem to have arrived at the two different TPG's at the same time it is interesting to see the comparison between the service provided by them both. I will update the status of mine as it happens, Hopefully Ed will do the same

Trout, I thought you were done with PCGS and trying to get your bank to do a chargeback?
