I promise, it is not mine. I didn't handle any money when I was in Montreal on a family vacation in 1979.

Or you could just tell everyone that PCGS is horrible... Imagine the money they'd lose if no one here used PCGS. Sorry for more bad luck. Hope your complaints get something to happen.

One more occurrence of this, and I'd flat out switch over to NCG. No questions asked. This tactic works, often actually. My friend said that their dad was buying a car. The dealership gave him a deal, but then said later that they didn't. He walked right out of the dealership and drove away. The dealership people ran out and flagged home down, and gave him the deal. Try it!

This is not a PCGS coin most likely an ICCS or not graded

fingerprint aside, that is a nice '48. If it's ICCS, which it appears to be, they only technically grade and would not penalize for this fingerprint.
What did this one get silverwolf?

All of these options would get you somewhere. I suggest that you show them the posts you have made here. The mere fact that there are hundreds of people seeing this may change things. They may think this is another customer complaint, until they realize that they have an audience of over 200.

I doubt the fingerprint came from ICCS.
They'd have to be eating a basket of french fries with their hands to leave a print like that.

Wow, they must have kept their finger on this coin for a couple minutes to have that much on it..

More proof ICCS doesn't take fingerprints into account when grading coins. Seller is asking top price for this with fingerprint. Has been on the market for what seems like months now. Too bad, it has nice toning 181747533529
