Really happy that I found this coin. James wiles attributed it last week and I now I'm sending it off to be graded. Does anyone have any info on this dime. Fs-1967-10-101. PCGS,NGC pop reports say 0. Top registry sets have just about every dime variety but nobody has this dime that's competing in the registry and it's recognized. I really wish I knew more about this dime. Dr. Wiles was very helpful and answered some questions I had but I didn't want to bombard the guy with to many emails.

Looks like MD and a Grease Filled Die to me, but hey, I guess Dr. Wiles is a heckuva lot smarter than me! Nice looking coin, but is that a scratch above the bust?

I would like to see closer shots of this coin. So far, it just looks interesting. But when you get a closer image, please post it. I would love to see it. Just checked Variety Vista and it it there: http://www.varietyvista.com/07%20Ro...7PDDO001.htmYour coin looks like there is a die crack above the head?

Images aren't good enough to tell if it is a DDO or not.

Its a double die and I learned this coin has been MIA for 30 years. Dr. Wiles was gracious in that he waved the attribution fee because he was interested in photographing the fs dime for coneca master listings. I have heard that the listings get updated every 3-6 months but as soon as I'm done writing this I'm going to check if my dime is there yet.the dime is In cherrypickers and I'm curious where that specimen is and whose it is?

I will try to post better pics. After thanksgiving shes getting encapsulated. The pics dont do it justice as they say. Wiles stated he thought it would grade AU. No scratches just my crappy photography

It looks exactly like it to me. Look at the word god. It matches up perfectly. I can see it even from the pictures provided. Great find!

Great job Benny. It is amazing when you make improvement on your images, how much better they can look. Do you see the clarity of of the images on the 1, Not quite focused. 2, getting a little better and 3 all coming into view. #4, is way to small. SO what size are you making your images? 600-1200 is a nice pixel width. With the 1240 that I use, the images can be clicked on to enlarge them even bigger and you can see more detail. So thanks for your working on improvement. All here appreciate it. I still looking for some larger images that show all the motto and the date. So don't give up yet.
Side point: When you focus on a coin with an eye piece or a microscope. What should you focus on. The tops of the devices, or on the fields? The correct answer is focus on the fields. That distance between the two can alter the focus and leave the coin looking out of focus. Answer to this question is hidden in the above space. Highlight that area to see the correct answer.

Do you think you'll get your name posted along side of its picture if it's in Cherrypickers?
