Two coins with waves. I assume the 1943 is from a failure during reprocessing, but the 1947-S just seems odd.

The 47 has damage from heat. So PSD, but the 43 looks like die wear, neither carry a premium though

Perhaps heat here as well? Agree it doesn't look like die wear.

I took a close up of the 43 but it didn't come out so well so didn't post it originally.

And I was kinda assuming that as sharp as the details are that it wasn't a worn die.

The reverse doesn't show the same affect. I would think that Heat on the Steel cent would have changed the color a bit. Possible older sanding on the obverse on the 1943? That would leave marks the same on the tops of the devices and on the fields. The 1943 cents had a coating of zinc on them, so if they were careful, it might affect just the coating on the cent. Reverse not altered.

1947-S looks like it was heated with a torch.
