Never had one of these that was in a higher grade, much less in a slab, and this one looked pretty nice, with a die crack, even, and it wasn't much money, so I grabbed it. 1943 LWC steel cent. What do you think, for a grade?

Very nice MS-66 . But I'm not sure if that's a die crack on obverse .

Definitely a die break, seller had high res (2400x) pics, you can see it quite clearly in those when zoomed in, especially on the right field.

Very nice! I would say MS-66, but I wouldn't think you'd post it if it was a 66. I think it is a 67. Nice die crack

65 here as well, I guess, though I haven't had much experience grading these.
Rest in Peace

I'd go with MS-66, although for your sake I hope it's MS-67 given the 300% jump in retail value.

Beautiful coin!

Like I said, I didn't spend much money, but it's nice to know that CCF thinks it looks better than PCGS did :)

Just wanted to own one of these that wasn't rusted, bent, corroded, or otherwise a cull coin, and I'm pleased that other Wheat cent fans find it attractive as well.

Thanks!
