I'm guessing these are first day of issue and all appear to be CU. Can anyone tell me their resale value?

Because you have a few sequential it might carry a small premium but they normally go for about 2x face value...sometimes more

I actually found one of these when I asked my bank for any of their loose $2 bills

edit: I've never seen one with that large of a USPS stamp on it. Where's it from?

The text appears to say Denver Colorado Mile Hi Philatelic Center. I'm guessing that these were made available for a decent price because the year is virtually missing on all the notes. But, I'm sure anyone can tell that by the April 13th date, the cancellation, stamps, and condition, that these are from 1976.

I have several of those with the state stamps that were issued about the same time and I also have a couple that were postmarked at the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial aka the Gateway Arch. The USPS appropriately set up a cancellation booth at the one national park that would not exist without Jefferson

So does anyone know if these types of notes carry a premium?

Yes, I do believe that they tend to sell for a bit more than a normal CU 1976 $2. Depending on the particular stamp and where the cancellation was done, probably $5-8.

Definately unique !... I like em'.......I have four currency folders almost full now.....but none like those...wish I did !
I do have one particular "one dollar bill" that is "larger" than all of the other ones I have. Forgive me, but I've forgotten the date & design, but it is too large to fit into the holders of my other silver certificates. It's in really bad condition.....but unique....and I own it.....so.....probably not worth much, but I don't care.
I do have four or six (i forget) "sequential order numbered" two dollar silver certificates that were my Great Grandfathers....and in perfect condition...my mom gave em' to me.
I don't know anything about paper currency......nor do I have any books on it, but I sure do seem to be "acquiring" a fair amount of it over time ! Ha Ha LoL
