I politely emailed the seller to inform him RPD's ceased to exist for over 100 years now-he tells me he's going off the CherryPickers Guide and that buyers can decide for themselves-I tried [Look at this on ebay:

1958 huh. What year was the date incorporated in the design of the die? Long before then I think.

I have the latest CPG in front of me, and 1958-D 1C is not even listed for any variety. Wexler may have some sort of variety, but this one looks like shift/mechanical doubling.

Looks like MD to me. It reduces the 9, not enlarging it.

Yes rhats what I told him also in the email that it was md but he didnt seem to care either way

He just wants someone to buy it. When people don't know what they are talking about, what do I do? I look at their other auctions to see what they missed on their other coins they are selling.
