$34,500, huh? Sounds kind of like some of the coins being sold on E-Bay... WAY overpriced

So, I can buy a used car for $2,000, put $500 worth of coins on it, and sell it for $30K+? Nice work if you can get it.

yeah, but you'd always have some gas money.

How many tubes of super glue did that take?
If you got in a fender bender you'd have to take in to NGC for conservation service.

The "added value" is obviously for the hundreds of hours spent gluing the coins on. Like any customized car, it is hard to find someone who attaches as much value to the customization as the creator did.

Looks like the car has fish scales. As far as the asking price goes, he has the right to ask. The question is will someone actually pay that price? I doubt it, but crazier things have happened.

Just wondering how much the added weight is going to cut down on gas mileage.

I remember that fad from the 70`s to 90`s a lot of old beaters few with coins, but a lot with grass and others with what ever would stick to them.
The wild 1970 and 80`s I saw a lot of wild cars.
Coins were my favorite. The coins were worth more than the car

I am a coin guy. I am a car guy. With that said, just because something is one of a kind does not make it worth it to buy. There are plenty of one of a kind things out there that I would never want. We can put this on the list. Haha. Thanks for sharing!
