Cuds are on a coin's edge. That may be a die chip or the P took a hit. Is the mint mark depressed some or higher than normal?

The MM looks like it is damaged. I see damage at the 6 o'clock position also and on IN WE. Rim offset aka MAD is very very minor.

If the image has not been skewed then seems to be out of round. Is the reeding present all the way around? Does the reverse seem normal?

Pending the before mentioned possible wide collar issue.

MM is hard to see. Broken posts that help form the device are common. Thanks, Doug.

Looks like the post that formed the center of the 'P' on the mint mark has broken deep into the die. That is why it is taller than the mint mark. Mint error, but very common and no premium for this.

Thanks, I guess the 1st image has skewed my perspective a bit. I'm constantly testing or questioning my eyes against posted images. Thanks, Doug.

Thought I'd follow up as some might wonder about why I rotated the original image upright. Was done in aid of lining up the circle overlay. Nothing to do with coin showing die rotation.

We were all new students at one time. It takes time to get things in mind. Don't beat youself down for anything. A humble person can be taught. A proud person thinks he know it all. We are all still learning new things everyday.

-au contraire- I stink of amateur more than most. Your images are surely better than mine.

I learned early on with copy, cut, crop and paste images can differ from the actual coin itself. So the end result, facts or truth boils down to the coin in hand. Thanks, Doug.
