Picked this up for just shy of $35
My impression is that PCGS MS66 or above have much higher eye appeal. This one has only average eye appeal. MS64 possible?

I had a few ICG slabbed coins - I sold them on ebay for what I could get. Just remember, ICG should not be considered in the same quality grading category as PCGS/NGC/or even ANACS.

Still - for 35$ isn't bad even as a 64 from PCGS!!

Looks like an honest 65. The 38-D is the most common higher grade Buffalo, up to and including MS-67.

(Looks like an honest 65)

True - as long as the obverse is a weak strike

There are a boat load of BU 38-D Buffalos out in coinland. Original rolls still turn up in old time collections from the 50's and 60's.

Yours appears to be the typical 64/65, maybe 66 example. 35$ is a fair price.

Be sure and check it for varieties!

Really like the luster, 65 looks fair but hard to tell from pics.
