Ever since I found out that the West Point mint produced Lincoln cents with no markers differentiating them from those produced by the Philly mint, I've been severely intrigued,

I read this:

But, seeing how specific die markers can be, there must be some possible way of identifying West Point cents. I know it's unlikely but I've seen some crazy things happen.

If they were to be identified, what do you think the first would be worth?

The problem is you have to know the coin is a West Point coin before you can tie a die marker on the coin to that mint. It's a classic "chicken or the egg" dilemma.
Rest in Peace

The value would be in the knowledge, not in the coins themselves, as they would all be common.

The only way I could see that knowledge could be obtained was if you had original sealed bags that indicated the minting facility and were able to distinguish a die marker or markers that showed from only one mint. Even then, with the volume produced it is unlikely that a single bag to bag comparison would cover anything more than a brief moment in the production and would certainly not represent all possibilities.

Another point to ponder, or in case others aren't aware, I've read up until 1996 "all aspects of the die making process were done exclusively at the Philadelphia Mint". http://www.doubleddie.com/58201.html

So without a MM to differentiate them, who knows which dies went where? I'm sure the dies had serial numbers for mint tracking, but then some kind of marker would need to be associated to that die. After retirement the dies are supposed to be defaced and recycled, but some have been known to slip through the cracks. Thanks, Doug.

Yes, that's the topic I linked to at the top. Interesting stuff. I was wondering if maybe there have been any developments since then.

Well it looks like I was incorrect on the 1965-1967 cents.
West-Point-Mint-Cents?
They just came from three mints, not 4.
