First of all this is not mine yet but I am thinking of buying it. Coin is in GSA holder and pictures are seller photos. I've been thinking of buying CC Morgan dollar for awhile and after long time browsing I found one that looks nice in my eyes and price seems fair. But before buying it I thought of asking your opinion about this coin. How would you grade it and do you see any problems? Thank you.

63. On the obverse is the rim slightly damaged (upper left area) or is that just the glare in the photo?

Nice MS63, semi PL reverse, with minor dings above eagle's head.

It's a solid 63 with nothing particularly disparaging. Won't make PL but does have some deviation. Decent full luster. I like it.

Might make MS-64, looks problem-free, very attractive. Looks like a dashed 8, maybe a VAM-5?

I would say MS63. Just saw one in a PCGS MS63 holder go at auction this morning, it didn't look as nice as this and went for $225 US, plus BP.
