Early 1914 nothing suggests Western-Europe will soon turn into a battle field. In Belgium the last (in retrospect) gold 20 Francs is coined, the only one picturing King Albert, reigning since 1909.  The smallest coins continue to be 1 and 2 centimes, though they have not been shrunk in the mid 19th century as was the case for other francs in the LMU:
