Another 1921 Peace I'm thinking of picking up.

Sorry for the poor photos. What grade do you think?

It appears to be mint state with a technical grade in the 63-64 range but without better pics there's no way to pin it down. Could go as low as 62 and as high as 65.

Hard to tell from these photos. Looks MS but then the dull breaks in luster on the feathers might drop it to AU-58 in hand. Ask for better photos before you decide to jump on this one.

Looks very attractive, with above-average detail. Without the ability to assess luster you can't be confident it will make Mint State. If luster is intact it could make MS-64.
I'm with IndianGoldEagle: ask for better photos. Or, find out if you can get a return privilege. Potentially this is a very nice coin!
Rest in Peace

Strike appears better than most.

But the photos are so washed out its impossible to tell luster or problems. Could be full of white milk spots and you'd never see them from this photo.

I agree with the HUGE range of AU-58 to MS-65. I myself would ask for better photos, too, since it does have a nice strike. But I usually wouldn't buy without better photos.

On the other hand, if it's a KNOWN dealer with good feedback and a return policy I might bite.

$350 average MS-63, $700 average MS-64.

Certainly can't see enough here to judge properly. I'd be unlikely to pay $700 for a raw one in most circumstances.

with IndianGoldEagle. these pics are terrible and usually when I see that, its a red flag someone is trying to hide something.

Agreed with the photos. I don't understand why sellers take sub-par photos on a coin worth several hundred dollars.

Like panzaldi said, it puts up some red flags. I'm starting to learn why many collectors use HA and GC to purchase their coins...

I would think AU-58 from those pictures.
