I been slowly collecting junk silver george v and before from Canada. My dad got me a nicely toned 1973 dollar as a surprise for Christmas and decided to finially get a George V Silver dollar like I wanted for over a year.

I found this 1936 one on ebay and lost the first auction because it went for over double my budget for some reason, the guy didnt pay him and he relisted. This time it stayed decent and sold for about $26 US. I figured that it was a ok price given almost any condition of it. I dont think it has had a previous cleaning but might have had. I think I can tell better once I have it in hand.

Fields are nice but some unwanted marks on George, may have been dropped.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

These dollars usually have a wonderful soft frosty surface when in MS or better..

Please post pics without the glare when you do receive it..

The obv on the 35 and 36 are always one of my favorites....so I'm not going to guess with these images..

Lots of glare on your coin really would like better photos.

For $26US, looks like it was a decent score. I don't think you'd be able to find it for cheaper. But I can't give a proper grading either due to the glare in the pics. But my guess is somewhere in the MS60 range as well

I will try to upload pics when it gets here. It's being imported into Canada so not sure how long it will be.

Last year ebay auction third party graded '36 Canadian silver dollars went for an average of $39 CAD in AU55, $52 in MS60 and $69 in MS62, including shipping costs.

To convert to U.S. multiply by about 0.75 or check on-line for the current exchange rate. I would not hazard a guess on the grade of your coin, just throwing out numbers based on what others think the grade might be.
