The Gold Inaugural Trump Dollar is only available in the 2017 Gold Proof Inaugural Trump Dollar Set ($1,995).
The gold coin is not solid gold, but it does contain an ounce of gold and an ounce of silver... "The special two ounce "Double Split Piedfort" Gold Proof Inaugural Trump Dollar that contains two half-ounce .9999 fine gold planchets sandwiched with a gold layered one ounce of .999 fine silver planchet in the center".
The term "sandwiched" is improperly used here because the "gold layered" silver planchet is the thing that is sandwiched between two 1/2 ounce gold layers. "Sandwiched" usually refers to the item in between two other things.

10 FDI's bigsilver?! Good choice. Those will go up in value more than the proof. I will probably get a few FDI and skip the proof this time. Maybe buy a proof or two down the road for a touch over issue

No more FDI available at the 35.00 price...now at 105.00 through the same website but from secondary market.
I don't know what in the world happened the first time I went to the website this morning. It said what I typed above. However, Cascade is correct - I just went back and was able to order.
Red is now out...finally. Red, White, and Blue hopefully making a comeback.

The new inaguation Trump Dollar TDI shows as still available for $35 which shouldn't end until midnight tonigh. Didn't look at which time zone though.
The "Trump the Government" Liberty Dollar released last April is now going for $100+

seriously considering getting one before 12:00...only thing really stopping me is I don't know how i'd order and pay haha. I watched the inauguration and ceremonies all day today, from about 9:00 AM til now and it's still going on lol. today I've been very nervous about people attempting anything against the president..I'm glad all went well.
