Hello I got this 1960 d penny like a year ago and notcied on the date has the 9 filled in is this an erorr

looks like the center pin of the 9 of the die was damaged, which resulted in basically a die chip showing up inside the 9. Nice find.

fun coin find...
i just found a 60D with a nearly identical chip in its 9.

the mint marks don match - so I am certain its not the same die - but is is surprisingsly similar...
