2007 Roosevelt Dime ...very Thick Planchet - Any Ideas?

hello everyone, found this in some change. 2007 dime, it is extra thick around the edge, same size or bigger than a quarter...but only weights 2.2 grams...any ideas. a normal dime on left, quarter on right, thick dime center...thanks for any help...

Note the fin on the rim of your dime. (caused by a tilted die) That is what is making the edge look wider. The planchet is probably just normal in thickness.

Are you saying its the same thickness all the way around? If it is I'd like to see the rest of the edge as shown in the last image. Thanks, Doug.
