2007 Roosevelt Dime ...very Thick Planchet - Any Ideas?

ter215 Valued Member United States 230 Posts	Posted 01/18/2017 6:38 pm hello everyone, found this in some change. 2007 dime, it is extra thick around the edge, same size or bigger than a quarter...but only weights 2.2 grams...any ideas. a normal dime on left, quarter on right, thick dime center...thanks for any help... coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 01/19/2017 02:49 am Note the fin on the rim of your dime. (caused by a tilted die) That is what is making the edge look wider. The planchet is probably just normal in thickness. Report this Post to the Staff
