Probably what is known as a Grease Filled Die. If it's only missing a single letter it is interesting, but has no value above the one cent.

Gzeron - a grease-filled die means (in this case) that the incuse letter "T" here on the die was filled with grease before the striking, so that the raised image did not show up on the surface of the new cent.
