I'm with the frog on this one. XF-45 not sure about cleaning. Way too many hair details for VF.

Thanks for the grading, I've decided to keep it now and write it's label as AU53 - cleaned. Obviously not worth sending off for slabbing, so What's the best way to store this coin? Will a little seethrough plastic coin wallet be okay?

If you are talking about a mylar "flip" then yes, that is fine. It looks like it has XF+ detail and has been improperly cleaned. $26 is a fair price though.
