I don't think the 1939-D is underappreciated so much as that very few big dollar buyers pay any attention whatsoever to the whole series. Report this Post to the Staff

I replaced a BU 1950 D in my 7070 with this one a few months ago. Mint state examples of this coin aren't easy to find for a decent price. Report this Post to the Staff
