I picked this up today.

1995 Paralympics (blind runner) proof silver dollar
1995 Baseball proof clad half dollar

I got it at a very good price, because the greysheet and redboook
do not list this combination of issued set.

Is there any CCF members that have seen this set?

For me ... I have empty holes for each of these coins in my Dansco albums.
So .. I am happy to pick them up

The set was one of many two-coin proof sets offered by the US Mint when it was promoting the Atlanta Olympics coins; the Paralympics Blind Runner silver dollar was individually paired with Baseball and Basketball half dollars in such sets.

They don't command (deserve?) any notable premium.

Nice coins for your collection nonetheless!

Good to know commems ...

1995/1996 commemoratives were out of control, with to many being offered.

In this case ... without being able to look up a set price ... $20 seemed like
a good deal to me.

I just saw that I need to take a reverse picture of this coin.
I have one of my Gymnast. All four 1995 Olympic dollars
have the same reverse.

I can understand that MD .... I did all the UNC's first ..
Then thought the proofs would add to my collection.

Many of the proofs I bought first were common and picked them
up around melt. For the ones I have left it is getting harder
to find them at melt price.
