The mint will periodically issue 40% silver proofs and even special mint sets for the business strike ones too. I don't know where to send you for a complete list, but I might be able to give some examples: 1976 bicentennial silver proof 3 piece mint set (quarter, half, dollar) and 1976 bicentennial silver uncirculated 3 piece mint set. I personally know about those because I have them. There were also the so called blue and brown Eisenhower dollar packs. The blue was uncirculated and the brown was proof, both 40% silver.
