The envelope had the upper right corner torn off -- so maybe the PO machines can't handle them. But the cents were well protected inside and arrived safe and sound. It made me think back to the good old days when I was kid and would send a couple of box tops and a quarter for little prize. It used to drive my mother nuts that I wasted my money on sea monkeys and such. Still, back in the old days, taping a quarter to a box top was not a problem for the USPS. I think they make a special non-maChinable stamp so maybe I will use those in the future. Glad the others got there as well, even if the road was a bit rocky (for example, Jovian).
