I am trying to look for a nice original Barber dime (and not break the bank) for my 7070. I know some years go for around $25 in XF condition so that is my target price.

How do these look?

These look about VF30 to me. For an XF coin I expect the band under LIBERTY to be sharply defined and the hair three dimensional in the obverse. Neither coin displays that.

In the reverse, I expect the wreath to have well defined corn, both in the wheat and the cob. Neither does here.

I agree these are not EF . VF-25/30 for the 2 of them .

1903 is close. 1914 barely makes VF. Keep looking! There's a nice one out there for ya!
