I was just curious about this coin, wanted to run it by community here. Noticed something strange on the right-hand side rim. Some extra material left over. What does this fall under? Is this something common at all? Feedback much appreciated.
- first I have seen for a silver dollar. Good eye!

i have a 1945 5 cent piece with a major broken die as well as 2 1943 tombac cuds(same die) as well as a coin with the die crack before the Cud happened.
I was browsing the Cuds-On-Coins website this morning and noticed they had a foreign section. There are only a few Canadian coins listed but there is a 1945 5-cent with a Cud above the 'C' in Canada. Same as yours thedollarman?
I will photograph it later thedollarman.... but if it is a Cud you want... then take this one!!

Thanks for the feedback guys, lots of information and great examples. Just wanted to confirm this has not been seen on a canadian silver dollar? I tried to research some examples could not find any anywhere.
