VF-30 that might get lowered because of the scratches on the face. But, actually, one of the scarcest of all the Vicky '59 varieties. We underpriced it in the 2011 Charlton. The R/P'd 1 is tough to find.
thanks for the info okie I have found 2 of these so far,,this one was a surprise as it came in a collection not mentioned or pictured in the auction, I'm curious...if you were to re-price this in the 2011 what would you put it at?
When we arrived at the "multiple" for each variety, each of the 5 of us put down what we thought the scarcity was and assigned out own multiple. If I remember right, we loped off the high and low and took the average of the remaining 3 .. and, like I've said before, we compared it to an 1858 in VF-20 as far as a wise purchase. I would put my vote at 15:1 rather than the 10:1 that it is now, compared to a normal vanilla '59.
