The Presidential dollars in the silver proof sets are exactly the same as the Presidential dollars in the clad proof sets. The only different Presidential proof dollars are the reverse proofs from the coin and chronicles sets from 2015 and the one set in 2016. The Truman RP and the Eisenhower RP are the key coins, I think they run about $100 to $120 each. Someone that follows ebay may have more accurate figures. I wish there were silver proofs in this series. That would have been great.

No, no silver proof Presidential dollars. Reverse proofs in the following 5 Coin and Chronicles sets: Truman, Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson and Reagan

probably a silly newbie question, but what is a "reverse proof" and how is it different then a "regular proof" ?

A "normal" (regular) modern proof has mirror (shiny) finish on the background areas (fields) of the coin and "frosted" (grainy) surfaces on the features and lettering of the coin (devices). A "reverse" proof have the two areas done in the opposite finish.

With a regular proof the devices (design) are frosted and the fields (background) is piolished. A reverse proof is just the opposite. Here is a picture of an Eisenhower reverse proof. nss-52 is faster, what he said

At one point, the Presidential dollars were going to be minted in 90% silver in addition to the manganese brass composition but the legislation did not pass. IIRC, the silver issues even got an entry in the 2009 RedBook.
