Nice to see a 47 dot that you can actually see the dot
with no problem.
Grade VF30

Edit-
I think you are closer to the grade than I am Dollarman.
It looks a lot better on the big screen than it did on my I-pad this morning.

That is one of the few coins I am missing in the 1937-Date quarters I collect. Most of my quarters from the 1940s are in pretty poor circulated condition. I can't see myself paying big bucks for an EF grade but the lesser grades are so poor that I see that I wonder if I should even bother so that space sits open in my album.

I'd agree with EF45 as well, just a smidge shy of AU50.

I'm with doubleeagle, I see what appears to be two raised points near the area where the dot should be but not in the right spot. If you were looking at the 7 vertically, the dot should align with the point of the 7. Perhaps a closer image of the area would help.

Sadly, .. that was the exact same feeling I had in my comments in his other post on this same coin..

That faint dot is just not in the right spot..

Looks EF-40ish to me. But I see no dot where it's supposed to be.
