Those are die scratches. The fields are the outside of the die. So when the fields have scratches and they disappear behind the devices, then it is a die issue. Die polishing is probably the cause. These scratches were probably deeper on the die, thus it take longer for them to disappear when the die continues to strike more coins. (plus being close to devices, it take longer for these to flatten, than when they are in the open field areas.Edited by coop
