I saw one of these listed someplace last night for under 30 bucks. I thought jeepers, that's a pretty dramatic doubled die! Did a little more searching and found several more online. Looked in my Red Book and lo and behold, nothing new here. Been there all along. Not very expensive but almost as dramatic as some of the best and famous. So what is it? Is it a very common DDO? Well, I went into the pile of 1 cents from pocket change over the past half year which amounted to a few rolls or so and not a single 1995 LMC in the lot. I'll have to keep an eye out for this one.

in 1972 when the DDO was found, I missed one at the opening price of 50.00. So when the 1995 came out, I jumped on the bandwagon for 50.00. Well... not even including inflation, I lost money on the deal. BUT... I like mine b/c I got it back then.

They're pretty affordable as of now but I imagine they will go up substantially over time.

They usually bring around $30.00 raw. Nicer certified coins bring more, sometimes much more.
I picked one up last week for $10.00. It is uncirculated, raw, and has a very small spot of Zinc showing through, but no corrosion.
I have only found one of these in the wild, but we don't get many Philly mint coins in this area.

I think that they are inexpensive because became widely known soon after the release. Plenty of them were found back then.

Yea, I learned @ that one post mortem...after I'd searched @ 175,000 Lincolns, wonder just how many WAM, CAM, DDO, DDR were missed. Oh well, hopefully some other coin fan(atic) found any I missed!

Being the Nickel Guy, I'm not too surprised you never heard of the 95. I had the same problem till I ran across this one. I was lucky enough to pick it up last year for $10. I reckon you're familiar with the 83 DDR?

Yes I found a couple 83 DDR when they first came out. Two weak ones and a stronger one. Sold them all.

I am not fond of copper plated zinc cents. For me, they almost always end up with spotty issues

Same here. Spots or worse.

The reason why they are cheap is because there were a relatively large amount minted, which was enough to meet demand and thus suppressed the price.
