I'm horrible with these but that looks like a specimen strike to me. SP66

thanks for the guesses so far everyone @coinhunter thanks, it is quite a nice example of the type..if we are gonna talk about "wow" coins though, I will have to mention that 1939 dollar on your ebay store which I only wish I could afford

It's a specimen strike for sure. Very photogenic, looks absolutely stunning in those pics. SP67

Congrats. I considered bidding on it. It's a nice piece, a good bit better than the other SP67's I found in auction archives.

As I mentioned when you were planning on bidding Dollarman,
This coin is hard to find in such a beautiful shape, definitely deserves the grade it is in, but I believe it also deserves a +
I will leave it there and not spoil the gtade, leaps and bounds nicer than the 37 nickels I have in my collection ;)

thanks for playing everyone, seems most of you were spot on and the rest played it safe and graded pretty conservatively here's a seller's pic so y'all can see the grade...notice the typo from PCGS? @Apitrix I remember seeing your SP nickels in hand, the 37 is pretty and so are the rest, you know how to pick 'em

.. SP67 ..Matte and so pretty..
That would be fun to pair up the above SP with an MS67..
I was a few minutes late on my SP67 guess..Great example..

so pretty..i agree I've started taking a real liking to the matte specimens i don't know if there are MS-67 examples out there, but pairing it with a nice high end uncirculated example and a mirror strike would be pretty cool..don't put expensive ideas in my head
