Hi all, need some help to determine if this 1982-P Kenny Half dollar coin is no initial or Struck Through Grease. Looks like Struck Through Grease to me (a very faint FG when zoom-in). Thank you,

Grease. I can see an outline of the FG. The true "no FG" variety shows no trace of this. A good diagnostic is the 1 in 1982. On the "no FG" variety, the one shows reduced base.

Thank you Druu. I took another pic on the date and compare with other coin. 1982-P (top) and 1974-D (bottom), still confusing , base of 1 looks like is in between

Hmmm, that is confusing. I had two "no FG" 1982 P's -- one legit one, and one greased die. I can look for pictures of those two if you want. I find it helpful to compare only between 1982 halves. Over the course of the series, there are slight design changes that aren't always obvious.

Definitely a greased die error. It is worth little over face.
