Last week I got ripped off by receiving a button in a roll of nickel's! Then a few days later things evened out when I found a dime in a roll of pennies! So what's your strange and unusual finds? *** Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. ***

3 dimes in one Cent roll last week but I'll have to think some more on this one as I know I've found some pretty strange stuff over the years.

There must be something going on with the cent rolls in Ohio! As I'm also in Ohio.

Found a rolled zincoln cent in the bank box rolls came in, that count? Packers must a thought of us CRHers!
Plus various foreign coins, mostly Canadian, the islands(Bahama, Jamaica) because their size coins are alike. Think I remember a French coin from a roll of quarters.

That's right Newbie. Crazy what you can find. I got a button a couple of times, plastic disk knock-outs, batteries, play money, washers...lots of odd stuff. And of value, I got that sterling silver Oldsmobile from a cent roll, a 1942 Mercury dime from a cent roll, and a 1915 Austrian Ducat (gold) from a nickel roll. Another fun find was the Magicians coin (two headed nickel from a nickel roll).

Crazyb0;I also have come across many different foreign coins, SOme of which I don't know where they are from. Rackster; Looks like you were repaid for the batteries you found! I hope they still had some juice! LOL! Plumcrazy814;That would just tick me off! But I wonder was that a coin counter roll(grocery store) or a personal roll?
