I think something was off with the planchet. Most of those marks in the fields don't seem to be from scratches, but something else, or am I wrong?

I'm not an expert, just my personal theory . . May have something to do with the zinc coating on these coins. I have some uncirculated examples from my uncle's collection with similar issue. It would be very rare to score MS65 or better on these coins . . Just my opinion . .
