50 Francs Coin Question - Coin Community Forum

Coinhistory New Member Canada 33 Posts	Posted 03/25/2017 03:04 am Hello All. I have a question regarding this 50 Francs (90% silver) coin on ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/1978-FRANCE...22335855579? The listing states that this coin in uncirculated however I do not see any luster on the coin. It seems very flat or dull. Does it seem like this coin been cleaned? We prefer embedded video. * There are other examples of this coin on ebay which show some luster but they are not as clean as the listing in my original post above. keepcalmandcoinon Pillar of the Community United States 865 Posts	Posted 03/25/2017 1:45 pm It may be the way the coin is positioned, where the light is coming from, etc. But I don't see any signs of it being cleaned. But if you're that worried about it, these coins are readily available so I would just wait til one you are sure of comes along. It probably won't be too long. Report this Post to the Staff
