Got both these in change today, from separate places (the 1982-D Zinc from a McDonald's and the 1954 from a QT.) The Wheat cent was a pleasant surprise since it's been a few months between Wheat cent finds for me in terms of change. Thoughts on grades?

The 54's a VF, 82D is _AU55.

The 54P's were ones I had trouble finding when I was buying bulk wheat cents, kinda like the 55S or any pre 1933 date!

Still find in rolls, gotta be in change.

with Crazyb0 on the grading - maybe a little lower on the 82.

Of bigger importance is your diet, man! McDonald's and QT on the same day? My wife wants me to send you some green vegetables or something..

Strange 54 the Rev is not consistent with the obverse, VF20.

F-15 on the '54 based on the reverse.

McDonald's for quick breakfast, QT for lotto ticket. I could eat the lotto ticket but I don't think that would be a good idea, either in terms of health, or if it turned out to be a winner. Also picked up 2 rolls of BreathSavers there (hence, the change.)

When you work 55-65 hours per week, live alone, and usually must skip lunch or take 10-15 minutes at most, you eat what you can, when you can, nutritional value being somewhat secondary to keeping your job and thereby keeping your house.

The pics came out slightly blurry on the 82-D, I see. I need to build a rig, or purchase one, to hold the camera still so that my ET does not interfere.
