Is that a scratch in front of Vic's face, and what are the dark lines on her cheek and neck? On the reverse, a handkerchief cleaning looks likely in areas that are open enough to allow such. I think of that sort of "cleaning" to be not much more than a thumb rub and happens to all coins that have seen any kind of circulation. Thus, IMHO,

For me, those fields are too clean for a 63.
....so I'm in for MS 64..

That one mark down between the E and the 9 might hurt my grade at 64..

A really great example here..and wonderful soft toning only helps this coin..

In my OP, I was going to say that I thought it had a good chance at a 64, but you know how we tend to over grade the coins we own (lol).

Anyways, it's off to ICCS next week and I'm very confident of an ms63 as a minimum.

So true,..so true....I've got far too many of mine graded as MS 73's on the Dev scale...
