still lookin, that is really amazing looking. Are you sure it is not a DD on the initials and MD on the hair/ponytail? coop has taught us that a coin can have both.

Still lookin I don't believe the Dm is MD. I would make a post of this coin! That is very unusual! Good Luck!

Front and back. I believe on this coin the die bounced at least twice. The largest bounce was northward influencing the designer initials, chin and hair at the back of head. I think that a second bounce was required to change the forehead and top of hair east. I can see no changes on the reverse except the Rolling Machine Damage.Still Lookin

The 1995-P nickel does indeed show Machine Doubling (push doubling subtype). I have two specimens struck by the same dies. In one the doubling is as severe as what the photo shows; in the other it's slightly less extreme. In this situation, the obverse (hammer die) experienced a rather high bounce and significant lateral shift before landing lightly on the newly-struck design.
